Eustrangalis
*Eustrangalis* Swaine & Hopping, 1928 is a small, slender longhorn beetle of the subfamily Lepturinae, recognised by its distinctly tapered body and finely faceted eyes. Adults are diurnal flower-visitors, commonly encountered on Apiaceae and Rosaceae blooms along forest edges and woodland clearings. The genus is centred in the eastern Palaearctic, distributed across E Siberia and Japan, with adults flying between May and August. Larvae develop in decaying wood of deciduous trees, with a larval period spanning two to four years.
