*Rhamnusium* Latreille, 1829 is a small genus of striking Lepturinae longhorn beetles, with three Palaearctic species and one representative in Europe. Adults are conspicuous, often brightly bicolored — typically with a red pronotum contrasting against dark elytra, or entirely reddish — and are strong diurnal fliers regularly observed visiting flowers of Apiaceae and Rosaceae. Larvae develop over two to three years within decaying heartwood cavities of living or weakened veteran deciduous trees, particularly in old allées, parks, and riparian woodlands.
