Stromatium

*Stromatium* Audinet-Serville, 1834 is a genus of medium to large, elongate-cylindrical longhorn beetles ranging from 15 to 35 mm, with fine brown pubescence and variable, often patterned coloration. The single European species, *S. unicolor*, has become nearly cosmopolitan through the timber trade and is notorious for infesting dry dead wood, including furniture and structural timber. Adults are strictly nocturnal and are readily attracted to ultraviolet light during their flight season from June to September.
