Overview
Anarchambyx
*Anarchambyx* Breuning, 1942 is a monotypic genus of medium-sized longhorn beetles ranging from 20 to 40 mm, confined to Morocco in the western Palaearctic. Adults are associated with dead and dying Quercus, where larvae develop subcortically before entering the wood. Despite strong flight capacity and a flight season spanning May to August, the genus remains very rarely encountered, attracted to fresh dead wood and UV light at elevations up to 800 m.
