Chloridolum

*Chloridolum* Thomson, 1864 is a medium-sized longhorn beetle genus whose members are among the most visually striking Cerambycinae of the Eastern Palaearctic, typically clothed in brilliant metallic green or blue. With 12 Palaearctic species, the genus reaches its greatest diversity across China, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam, barely touching the margins of the European fauna with four representatives. Adults are strong fliers, active by day from May through August, and are most readily encountered on or near dead and dying deciduous trees — particularly oaks and chestnuts.
