Overview
Leptorhabdium
*Leptorhabdium* Kraatz, 1879 is a small longhorn beetle genus of the subfamily Lepturinae, distributed across East Asia in Japan and China. Adults measure 7–12 mm and display a characteristically tapered, elongate body, often in variable and bright coloration. Diurnal and strong-flying, adults are most readily observed visiting flowers — particularly Apiaceae and Rosaceae — in forested habitats and woodland edges from May to August. Larvae develop over two to four years in decaying wood of various broadleaf trees.
