Overview
Mourgliana
*Mourgliana* Sama, 1996 is a small, monotypic Cerambycinae genus restricted to the Levantine region of the eastern Mediterranean, recorded from Lebanon and Syria. Adults are slender and elongate-cylindrical, ranging from 5 to 10 mm, and exhibit variable coloration. They are associated with dead or dying *Quercus* trees, where larvae develop subcortically before entering the wood. Adults are attracted to fresh dead wood and can be observed from May through August.
