*Neodorcadion* Ganglbauer, 1884 — the Balkan Earth Longhorns — are robust, flightless beetles characteristic of open, grassy habitats across the Balkans and north-western Turkey. Adults are found from early spring through May and June, running across the ground or sheltering beneath stones and grass tussocks on pastures, forest edges, and field margins from lowland to foothill zones. Their dense, cryptic pubescence, typically forming pale vittae along the elytra, renders them remarkably inconspicuous against dry soil and dead vegetation.
