Overview

Oligoenoplus

*Oligoenoplus* Chevrolat, 1863 is a small cerambycid genus of the eastern Palaearctic, associated exclusively with oaks (*Quercus*). Adults are variably coloured and may display mimicry-like patterning, reaching 8–15 mm in length. Larvae develop beneath the bark and into the wood of dead or dying host trees, with development spanning one to three years. The genus is encountered on fresh dead wood and may be attracted to UV light.
