*Pseudalosterna* Plavilstshikov, 1934 is a small lepturine genus of slender, tapered longhorn beetles ranging from 6 to 12 mm, often displaying bright, variable coloration. Adults are diurnal flower visitors, frequently encountered on Apiaceae and Rosaceae blooms at forest edges and clearings from May to August. The genus is characteristically boreal and montane in distribution, associated with coniferous and mixed forests across its East Palaearctic range from eastern Siberia to Japan. Larvae develop in decaying wood over a protracted period of two to four years.
