Xestoleptura
*Xestoleptura* Casey, 1913 is a small genus of longhorn beetles belonging to the tribe Lepturinae, with a distribution centred in North America but extending marginally into the western Palaearctic through East Asia. Adults are diurnal flower visitors, frequently encountered on Apiaceae and Rosaceae blooms at woodland edges and forest clearings from May to August. The body is characteristically elongate and tapered, reaching 8–16 mm, often marked with bright or contrasting colours. Larvae develop in decaying wood of both coniferous and broadleaf trees over a period of two to four years.
