Overview
Libanoclytus
*Libanoclytus* Sama, 1996 is a rare monotypic longhorn beetle endemic to Lebanon, where it inhabits montane oak forests at elevations between 800 and 1800 metres. Adults of this small cerambycine (8–16 mm) are associated with dead and dying *Quercus*, and may be encountered on timber or beneath loose bark during the flight season from May to August. The genus is considered extremely rare and represents one of the most geographically restricted longhorn genera of the Western Palaearctic.
