Overview

Lioderina

*Lioderina* is a small, monotypic genus of longhorn beetles (Cerambycinae) found across central and south-eastern Europe, occurring mainly between 200 and 800 m altitude. The single Palaearctic species inhabits old orchards and gardens, with larvae developing in the slender branches of host trees. Adults are crepuscular to nocturnal and are attracted to light; in Slovakia flight records range from early May to early August, peaking in June. The genus is uncommon throughout its range and associated primarily with dead or dying wood of deciduous trees.
