*Pilemia* Fairmaire, 1864 is a genus of small to medium-sized longhorn beetles (5–20 mm) belonging to the tribe Phytoeciini within subfamily Lamiinae, immediately recognisable by the exceptionally dense, erect pubescence clothing the body. The genus comprises 12 West Palaearctic species, of which 4 occur in Europe, with altitudinal range spanning from sea level to approximately 1,500 m. Adults are diurnal to crepuscular, active from April through July, and are typically encountered on or near their host plants.
